Grand Sempler and two Golden Semplers for UM Beograd at the SEMPL festival

At the 21st Sempler award ceremony, with the highest score in the competition of 80 entries, the UM Beograd media agency’s “I (Dis)Own My Child” campaign won the Grand Sempler for the best media campaign of the year. In addition to this most significant award, the jury awarded a Golden Sempler to “I (Dis)Own My Child” (NGO To Know), in the category Innovative use of the communication channel, and “Baby Chooses Where” (ROSA), in the category Best PR strategy or promotion. Both campaigns were realized in cooperation with McCann Beograd agency.

“The Sempl Festival is the only media festival in the region, and in this sense, the awards received at this festival are definitely the most prestigious for media agencies. This is the second time that UM Beograd has won the highest recognition at this festival. Our campaigns are compelling. The campaign “I (Dis)Own My Child” resonated through a single communication channel, print media, which had a strong impact on all other media thanks to, first of all, a strong emotional message. On the other hand, the „Baby Chooses Where“ campaign has managed to make a big impact in just one day using a strategically selected communication channel and relevant content. Our success lies in the joint work of all our agencies in the system, as well as our expertise in all areas of communication strategies. Our comprehensive understanding of the world of communication, great creative ideas, and the desire to create a better world together have delivered these strong messages that have been conveyed in the right way.
